Baja Designs Announces LP4 Off-Road Light

Baja Designs, The Scientists of Lighting, expands its vaunted LP Series of professional off-road lighting with the most-compact member of the line: the LP4. Measuring only 5.1 x 5.1 inches at a svelte 3.2-inch depth, each 4-LED/4-reflector LP4 emits 8,750 total lumens.

“The LP4 is our biggest lighting reveal at SEMA 2019,” says Baja Designs Marketing Manager Chris Fortunato. “This smaller form-factor LP Series light outputs huge numbers, while maintaining the Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT) system that has helped to earn the Baja Designs LP line such high industry marks for performance, versatility, and awesome styling.”

On the LP4, Baja Designs proprietary IPT approach projects 1,700 lumens of the light’s total output peripherally to create a smooth, 200-degree spread of usable lights. Two beam patterns are available: The Driving/Combo configuration pairs wide 42-degree optics with a 6-degree spot beam. For higher-speed applications, a Spot model uses a narrow 6-degree beam for longer-range illumination. LP4 lens choices are amber and white.

The LP Series also features Baja Designs’ Direct Ducted Cooling (DDC), which channels air through the housing, over the heat sinks. This technology helps the LP4 achieve the impressive output for its size. The LP4 will debut at SEMA 2019 in the Baja Designs booth (#23027).
