RUGGED RIDGE RELEASES AMFIB MODULAR SNORKEL FOR 2018-PRESENT WRANGLER JL & GLADIATOR JT
Suwanee, Ga (November 12, 2019) – Rugged Ridge®, a Truck Hero Inc. company and leading manufacturer of high-quality Jeep, truck and off-road parts and accessories, announces the release of its new Amfib Modular Snorkel System for 2018-Present Wrangler JL / JLU & Gladiator JT models.
The Rugged Ridge Amfib Modular Snorkel System was developed with a sharp focus on the aesthetics of the overall design. The foundation of the system, the Low Mount Snorkel, integrates with the factory cowl screen and bares an eye-pleasing octagonal air intake port.
The simple, bolt-on addition of the High Mount Snorkel enables the systems proper functionality, by raising the air intake port to the top of the windshield. Designed with the same styling cues as the lower snorkel, the High Mount Snorkel allows for navigating rivers and streams while protecting the engine from water ingestion.
Under the hood, the Amfib Snorkel System’s simplicity in design lends to a factory-appearing installation, unlike many aftermarket components that give a less-than-tidy presentation. The snorkels primary components are constructed from an extremely durable composite plastic capable of withstanding the extreme temperatures and harsh conditions associated with extended use, on and off-road.
