SSV Works Debuts New Jeep Audio System Accessories at 2019 SEMA Show

OXNARD, Calif., Oct. 31, 2019 – SSV Works (www.ssvworks.com), the market leader in off-road audio systems and accessories, is proud to announce it will debut three new Jeep-specific audio system accessories during SEMA Show 2019, held in Las Vegas, Nev. from Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth S38011.

“Jeep enthusiasts have been asking for vehicle-specific weatherproof audio solutions,” explained Trevor Kaplan, SSV Works CEO. “That’s why we are proud to announce new specific audio solutions for the Jeep Wrangler JL and JT during the 2019 SEMA Show.”

The JJL-CS65 (MSRP: $449.95) features a pair of swivel mount cage pods w/ 6.5-inch speakers for the Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4-door. These injection-molded speaker pods are made from a high impact plastic to help withstand extreme hot and cold weather conditions. Swivel mounts are manufactured from billet aluminum and supplied with stainless steel hardware.

“SSV Works’ JJL-CS65 swivel cage pods allow you to have your tunes playing in the car when you’re driving, or simply swivel them backwards for tailgating and hanging out when camping,” said Kaplan. “The cage pods are compact so that they don’t obstruct visibility but are optimized for sound quality. They feature billet aluminum mounts for off-road rigidity with an injection molded cage pod and design lines that match the vehicle they’re installed in. The comfortable grip friction knob allows the user to easily swivel to the desired angle and then retighten to secure in place.”

The JP1-DS10U (MSRP: $349.99) is a driver side rear cargo area mounted 10-inch subwoofer enclosure designed for the Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4door. The JP1-DS10U does not require any drilling and it comes with a stylized ABS speaker grille designed to nicely match the vehicle aesthetics.

“The JP1-DS10U’s enclosure is made of 100 percent fiberglass for the best sound quality and bass response,” Kaplan added. “Also, a reinforced plate mounts along the bottom half of the enclosure, protecting it from any loose objects and kit that could be sliding around in the back of the vehicle.”

The JJT-SAO65 (MSRP: $99.99) overhead soundbar 6.5-inch speaker adapter for Jeep Wrangler JL, JL Unlimited, and JT Gladiator models has been designed to allow for the upgrade from factory speakers to your full-size 6.5-inch speakers. These speaker converters are injection molded out of ASA plastic for maximum durability and the ability to withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures. Metal support plates are made of 2mm powder coated mild steel and are used to reinforce the factory soundbar. The metal support plates also add additional mounting points that help make installing the speaker converts a breeze.

“The JJT-SAO65 allows you to expand your audio system by upgrading from the small factory speaker configuration to 6.5-inch speakers, solving an industry issue with the limited offerings of audio expandability in the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator,” Kaplan concluded. “The fit and finish of the speaker adapters were designed to match the factory look while providing a much needed upgrade.”
