Dallas, TX – February 25, 2020 – DataBank, a leading provider of enterprise-class data centers, connectivity, and managed services, announces enhancements to its customer Portal, aimed at providing increased visibility, control, and improved functionality for customers.

Customers can now self-manage physical access rights to the data center for their staff and see bandwidth utilization and network performance for their managed internet products.  The new physical access controls allow customers to define roles and rights for their cardholders as well as activate and deactivate access, all without having to contact DataBank.  The new bandwidth and network reporting enhancements allow managed internet customers to see utilization details by protocol and port, as well as potential threats at-a-glance. DataBank has also added visibility to power circuits so customers can manage power utilization to avoid overloading circuits and loss of power to their cabinets and infrastructure. This added functionality now makes it even easier for DataBank customers to manage their cloud, colocation, and managed services environments with self-service ease and access, all connected in one simple-to-use management dashboard.

With cloud adoption on the rise, enterprises want to leverage all of the benefits, while still maintaining real-time control over their environments. The Customer Portal allows DataBank clients to create a “digital” relationship with DataBank by providing improved, faster, and more accurate communication – often unavailable or difficult to achieve with other service providers. Offering customers real-time analytics into performance, security, compliance, tickets, and devices, the Portal provides the ultimate visibility into their IT environments.

“DataBank’s Portal was designed with our customers in mind, giving them a single pane of glass to manage mission-critical infrastructure functions, drive operational governance, and easily manage and control their IT environments” comments Vlad Friedman, CTO for DataBank. “Offering real-time analytics for performance, security, and compliance empowers our customers to get the control they want – all bundled up in a self-service format. The Portal represents DataBank’s unique blend of enabling technology for our customers, along with providing them access to our expert support team 24x7x365.”

DataBank’s Portal empowers clients to view, manage, and report on the elements within their environment that matter the most to them – at the time of their choosing. The Portal offers a unique client experience, including security and compliance reporting to help clients meet the strictest compliance standards. including FedRAMP, HIPAA/HITECH, and PCI-DSS.
