Exotic Car Garages Rely on Haas Door Products

WAUSEON, OHIO – Life doesn’t get any better for race car enthusiasts. At the New Jersey Motorsports Park there are a variety of trackside private garage condominiums with oversized garages so you can pull your trailer and car right inside.

As with the two previous phases, Platt Construction Company is building these luxury units and incorporating Haas Door commercial garage doors into each condo setting.

“The Insulated Steel 600 Series from Haas Door are good, reliable garage doors,” says Louis Platt, co-owner of Platt Construction in Millville, N.J. “They’ve performed beautifully on Phases II and III in this project.

“There have been 22 Haas Door products installed so far by Elmer Door Company in the racetrack condos. We’ve been very pleased with their installations and we’re committed to staying with these dependable garage doors.”

The CFC-free polyurethane foam injected between the door panel skins provides strength and durability. The 26-gauge galvanized steel has a 13.45 calculated R-value and full thermal breaks.

Luxury Car Garages

Cars — and their owners — are pampered at N.J. Motorsports Park. The private garage condominiums range in size from 1,000 to 2,500 feet, with ceilings high enough to house a trailer or cars on lifts and stacked storage.

“Some of these units have the ultimate in racetrack living,” says Brandon Platt, co-owner of Platt Construction. “There are condos that have full view garage doors from Haas Door that are inside the mezzanine level of the unit. This way owners can raise the garage doors at any time to look down over their personal cars in the garages. That’s quite a unique feature.”

Additional garage amenities include climate-controlled settings, anti-freeze sprinkler systems, 24-hour security, interior water and sewer systems, CO2 detectors and 110-amp electrical access.

Sales of condos at Exotic Car Garages at N.J. Motorsports Park started with Phase I in the summer of 2014. After an immediate sell-out, Phase II was constructed in December 2016 and Phase III in December 2018. Both phases are also sold-out.

“Phase IV floor plans are now available to reserve and customize to an individual’s exact needs,” says Charity Giovanelli with N.J. Motorsports Park. “Depending on the overall unit size, garages can store up to 10 vehicles. With the degree of customization available on these condos we believe the eight luxury units in this phase will also sell out quickly.”
