NASA Awards Contract for Consolidated Information Technology Services

NASA has selected ASRC Federal Data Solutions (AFDS) Inc. of Beltsville, Maryland, to receive a contract for Ames Consolidated Information Technology Services at the agency’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California.

This is a single award, hybrid contract consisting of cost-plus-fixed-fee contract line item numbers for core contract management services, core technical services, and indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity requirements for additional technical requirements; and firm fixed price contract line item numbers for phase-in and indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity requirements for additional technical requirements. The contract has a maximum value of $338 million.

The contract has a 60-day phase-in period that begins Tuesday, Sept. 1, followed by a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.

Under the contract, AFDS will provide capabilities and expertise in support of applied research, engineering, maintenance, and operations for various requesting organizations, including Ames, other NASA facilities, and other government agencies, such as the Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
