WORX Expands Outdoor Power Equipment Line

Charlotte, NC – For the first time WORX® has introduced two electric pressure washers to its lineup of green outdoor power equipment. The WORX 13 Amp, 1600 PSI Electric Pressure Washer with rolling cart (WG604) and the compact, portable WORX 13 Amp 1500 PSI Pressure Washer (WG601) are designed to help homeowners quickly and thoroughly clean cars, trucks, vans and RVs, as well as decks, patios, driveways, garage floors, siding, windows, and more.

When compared to rental costs, the WORX 1600 psi Pressure Washer pays for itself over a long weekend. The mobile cleaning machine is rated at 1600 psi, using 1.3 gallons-per-minute (gpm). The 13 Amp, 1600 psi Electric Pressure Washer with rolling cart is designed with the user’s convenience foremost in mind. The cart’s cross section panel has dedicated ports for the four quick-connect nozzles included with the unit. Below the panel is a convenient wind-up hose reel for storing the pressure washer’s 25 ft. hose.

At the cart’s base are the pump and a 42 ounce soap tank. The tank is used for soapy detergents or various other pressure1600 psi PW - Driveway.jpg washer concentrates. The cap on the tank has a dial to adjust the liquid’s flow rate. A cord-wrap on the left side of the cart stores the 35 ft. insulated, water-resistant power cord. The pressure washer has a heavy-duty, axial-cam pump with a universal motor. The pressure washer’s overall footprint is 35 in.H x 20 in.W x 25.75 in.D.

A holster secures the pressure washer’s wand. The lightweight handle includes a metal wand for added strength and durability. The wand also is equipped with a ¼ in. brass quick-connect to quickly swap out nozzles. It also accepts aftermarket pressure washer tips. The handle features a full-length trigger with a lock-off beneath the handle.

Save quarters at the DIY car wash stalls by choosing the right nozzle for the job. The WORX pressure washer’s four, quick-connect nozzles have brass fittings. Each nozzle is color-coded and identified with icons that illustrate its function. There’s a turbo nozzle for tough jobs like washing imbedded dirt from driveways, removing caked-on mud from the under carriage of off-road vehicles, brick, concrete steps and front porches. Choose the soap nozzle to lather up vehicles, boats, bicycles, patio furniture and other outdoor gear for a clean wash before rinsing. For sensitive jobs, such as washing windows, select the 40º nozzle and use at a safe distance. For all-around everyday applications, the 25º nozzle may be the best choice.

The 1600 psi model is a water miser, using only 1.3 gallons-per-minute (gpm). The 28.46 lb. pressure washer with rolling cart provides mobility with its large 8 in. diameter no-flat, wheels. The cart’s tubular steel frame features a foam comfort-grip handle.

The WORX 13 Amp, 1600 PSI Electric Pressure Washer, (WG604, $169.99) is available at worx.com and Amazon. It is covered by the WORX three-year limited warranty.

The compact, portable WORX 13 Amp 1500 PSI Pressure Washer (WG601) is an ideal option when storage space is at a minimum. This 16 lb. pressure washer offers a compact design that tackles big tasks, yet requires minimal storage space. The axial-cam pump provides ultimate reliability and efficiency. A 20 ft. hose and pressure washer handle with wand is included. The machine’s insulated, water-resistant power cord is 35 ft. The wand has designated snap-in ports for two quick-connect nozzles, including a 360º rotating turbo nozzle and a general purpose 40º nozzle. The receiving ends of the wand and nozzles have ¼ in. brass fittings. The wand also accepts aftermarket pressure washer tips.
