Survival Settlement RPG “Nested Lands” reveals Early Access Roadmap

After a short delay, due to the implementation of very important features (including a genital slider) designed to enhance the player experience, Nested Lands — the survival-settlement RPG from META Publishing and 1M Bits Horde — will launch in Early Access on February 25th, with a roadmap already in place.

Following the early access launch, players can look forward to updates related to settlement building, expansions to the main story, a new biome and the introduction of everyone’s favorite in-game activity: fishing. Quality of life improvements will also be implemented alongside the content updates.

The big story update will add the new Dark Waters biome to Nested Lands, bringing the main story to a close by adding the final narrative arc.

In the meantime, players will be able to keep their villagers fed by raising livestock with the addition of new buildings and a growth and reproduction system. Pescetarians will have to wait a little longer, but fishing will be implemented later down the line. Thanks to the upcoming Expeditions feature, players will also be able to send their more adventurous villagers to remote islands to explore and collect loot. Of course, everything could come crashing down on them any minute, with the arrival of raiders threatening to burn down the village!

Nested Lands is a medieval survival-settlement RPG set during the Black Death. Players start with nothing and must work to build a functioning village by gathering resources, enduring nasty plague outbreaks, and protecting their people from roaming bandits and unstable, plague-twisted foes. Between the responsibilities that come with leading a village, surviving a deadly outbreak, and the question of the main character’s own mental state and personal hygiene, what could go wrong?
