Erikson Consumer Home presents the new HDI line of loudspeakers by JBL

BAIE D’URFE, QC, September, 2020 – Erikson Consumer Home is excited to bring the new High Definition Imaging line of JBL Premium Loudspeakers to the Canadian market.

Designed and engineered in JBL’s world-famous acoustic engineering facility in Northridge, California the new HDI (High Definition Imaging) series of loudspeakers utilize JBL’s revolutionary HDI waveguide geometry, a design that delivers neutral frequency response both on- and off-axis, and provides a seamless transition between the high and low frequency drivers. This line offers excellent dispersion control (100 degrees horizontal/80 degrees vertical) and consistent energy delivery across its dispersion area. With the HDI line, JBL delivers “stunning dynamics and clarity in a variety of applications in both 2-Channel “music only” systems and high-performance home theaters.”[1]

The HDI line includes two 2.5 way floor-standing main speakers, featuring either triple 8-inch drivers (HDI-3800) or triple 6.5-inch drivers (HDI-3600). The line also includes a 6.5 inch 2 way bookshelf loudspeaker (HDI-1600), a 2.5 way quadruple 5.25 inch driver center channel loudspeaker (HDI-4500) and a 12″ 1000W powered subwoofer (HDI-1200P) which has proven to be the highest performing 12-inch powered subwoofer in JBL history.

The full HDI line is available in three sophisticated finishes: black gloss, grey oak and walnut which are sure to go with any décor. The line is now available from Erikson Home retailers. Prices range from $2,500.00 a pair to $7,000.00 a pair for various configurations.
