Tripp Lite’s Innovative Fiber Management Solutions Win Cabling Industry Award

CHICAGO (PRWEB) OCTOBER 06, 2020

Tripp Lite, a global manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, announced today that its Robotic Fiber Panel Systems were recognized at the Platinum level by the 2020 Cabling Installation & Maintenance Innovators Awards.

Tripp Lite’s Robotic Fiber Panel Systems were chosen for the honor by a third-party judging panel, which included cabling and communications system specifiers, designers, integrators and managers with vast professional experience.

The Robotic Fiber Panel Systems use robotic latching and remote management to automate physical cross connections in fiber networks. The systems integrate with data center infrastructure to quickly and accurately establish physical layer 1 fiber connections between switches and servers without costly on-site manual intervention. These rack-mounted cross-connects are available for singlemode and multimode LC fiber connections in 512-port and 204-port configurations that scale to meet shifting demands. The solutions are ideal for data centers, telco centers, colocation facilities, enterprise IT infrastructure and large technology test labs.

“Tripp Lite is honored to receive this industry recognition for our Robotic Fiber Panel Systems,” said David Posner, Tripp Lite’s Vice President of Product Marketing, Connectivity. “These innovative solutions give IT professionals the ability to remotely control fiber connections at any time or on a preset schedule and automatically reconfigure a duplex fiber connection in just 30 seconds. Flexible and adaptable, these solutions also reduce the need for on-site visits while increasing equipment utilization.”

“On behalf of the Cabling Installation & Maintenance Innovators Awards, I would like to congratulate Tripp Lite on their Platinum-level honoree status,” said Cabling Installation & Maintenance’s Chief Editor Patrick McLaughlin. “This competitive, unbiased program celebrates the most original and innovative products in the Industry.”
