CES 2021Press Releases

CleanAirZone to Showcase 100% Green Biology-Based Air Purification System That Eliminates

Great Neck, NY (December 29, 2020) – As we all know, the COVID-19 virus has dramatically affected how we live, work and play. As we head into 2021, everyone is adapting – after all, even CES is going virtual!  As such, the need for a safe and comfortable work and home environment is essential. And now, after nine long months, a revolutionary new product designed to not only capture but also destroy the Coronavirus pathogen within indoor environments, has just arrived on the market.

CleanAirZone (CAZ), a US-based air purification R&D company, will showcase innovative, Bio-Based Air Purifier at the all-digital CES 2021, which will take place in a fully-virtual environment, January 11 through 14.

Deploying a bio-air scrubbing solution that uses natural biotics and enzymes derived from nature to create a clean, safe environment for every indoor space, CAZ is the only green technology that, when combined with its proprietary BioCAZ Solution®, both captures and destroys all types of pollutants without filters or harmful byproducts.

The powerful Air purification technology sustainably and efficiently captures and destroys an extensive list of air contaminants in indoor environments. CAZ’s patented technology replicates nature’s three-billion-year-old process of cleaning the atmosphere by combining water and microbiotics and enzymes in a proprietary natural formula that does not require filters while producing, in the process, no harmful wastes nor byproducts.

CAZ’s revolutionary green technology has been extensively tested and proven in both lab and field settings for eliminating all types of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), mold, bacteria amongst others and including MRSA, Legionella, H1N1 Flu Virus Degradation, Clostridium difficile, Candida albicans, Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB), Influenza B degradation, allergens, gases, odors and viruses including COVID-19. AssuredBio, an environmental microbiology lab based in Oak Ridge, TN, has demonstrated the efficiency of the CAZ system using a DNA-based test – the most accurate known system for identifying micro pathogens in the air – used to eradicate the presence of the COVID-19 virus in the environment.

CleanAirZone has applications in all types of commercial, retail, and residential settings, including homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, educational institutions, museums, and businesses ranging from print shops and supermarkets to nail salons and fitness centers.

Without question, air pollution contributes heavily to both chronic disease and even death. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), air pollution is the fifth leading cause of death worldwide, taking an estimated seven million lives each year. Approximately 47% of those deaths are from household pollution. The number of premature deaths is forecasted to triple from 2010 to 2060, and the hypothetical average cost of air pollution is projected to increase almost seven-fold over the same period.

Currently marketed air purification technologies, including those that both capture and destroy contaminants, typically entail the use of filters that must be discarded, UV lamps that contain mercury, and some methods that involve emission of potentially harmful ozone, chemicals or UV rays. Whereas most filters lose efficiency over time due to plugged filter media, CAZ’s water wash design increases in efficiency. As the COVID-19 pandemic has heightened awareness, urgency, demand, and public mandates for air purification, CleanAirZone now offers a viable, workable solution.
