SKATE TOGETHER – SKATER XL LAUNCHES MULTIPLAYER FREE SKATE MODE OPEN BETA ON STEAM

Easy Day Studios revealed the next step in the skateboarding evolution with the launch of a Multiplayer Free Skate beta for Skater XL. Available as an open beta on Steam today, up to ten players can jump into a free skate session together to hangout, explore different lines together, and even create group party line replays. As the next step in expanding Skater XL‘s planned social ecosystem, the multiplayer functionality will be coming to PlayStation and Xbox soon.

Up to ten players can hangout and chill together in the Skater XL‘s Multiplayer Free Skate.
Skater XL‘s Multiplayer Free Skate is available now as an open beta to stress test the online system and servers. Player feedback will be gathered to fine-tune the experience before the official Free Skate mode launches on all platforms. The Multiplayer Free Skate mode includes the following features:

  • Skate with up to 10 people online – Join a random room, or start your own to invite your friends using a passcode.
  • Replays – Replay and save your group party lines with the same replay editor functionality found in single player mode.
