The Top 5 Best Hybrid Cars On the Market in 2021

Have you been thinking about buying a new car? Nearly every car brand in 2021 has a comparable hybrid model with luxury features built-in. With a new car, you might be sacrificing cheap car loans. However, you will make up for the higher monthly payment in lower gas fees, severely reduced CO2 emissions, and tax breaks in some locations.

A hybrid car runs on both electricity and fuel; it uses up the energy first and when the battery dies, it begins to use the fuel source. With electric cars paving the way for the future, the hybrid is more convenient for longer drives, like road trips. If you can’t find a charging station at the next turn off, you can certainly find a gas station. Without further ado, here are the top five best hybrid cars on the market for you to consider!

2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

The 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is a fuel-efficient driver’s fantasy. Voting nearly top score in every category, including critic’s rating, performance, interior and safety, it falls short in interior with a rating of 7.9 out of 10. However, the interior is still considered to be spacious with a range of impressive safety features.

The fuel efficiency is impressive, and the drive is said to be smooth, comfortable and relaxing. Hyundai’s Sonata Hybrid was completely redesigned in 2020, updating the interior style, improving the fuel economy, expanding the cargo space, and designing a solar roof. When it comes down to the basics, the 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is positively comparable to the 2021 Toyota Camry Hybrid, but it’s about $700 less.

2021 Toyota Camry Hybrid

The 2021 Toyota Camry hybrid is voted #2 in Hybrid and Electric Cars, with a score of 8.2 out of 10. The Camry’s performance as a whole was ranked at 8.4, the interior was rated at 7.1 and its safety rated at a 10 out of 10 points.

By 2020, the Toyota Camry had a fully-equipped 8-horsepower engine, impressive mpg ratings, smooth handling, a large trunk, Apple CarPlay, Amazon’s Alexa, and an extended hybrid battery life. In 2021, there wasn’t much to improve on the Toyota Camry Hybrid aside from Toyota’s newest touch screen on the dashboard!

2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid

The Toyota Corolla has long since solidified itself as a reliable, affordable vehicle. The Corolla Hybrid is rated the best car for its cost efficiency, making it one of the most convenient cars to encourage car buyers to purchase a hybrid vehicle. This car does most things well, but if you are looking for luxury you might want to opt for the Toyota Camry instead.

Toyota’s Corolla Hybrid scores nearly perfect in the reliability ratings, with a 4.5 out of 5. It is an incredibly safe car, with safety features like forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, emergency braking, a rearview camera, and an additional blind spot monitor if you want to upgrade.

2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Though it is less fuel efficient than its competitors, the 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid holds its own on this list. Ford is celebrated for its “intuitive infotainment system” in the 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid, and it is also encouraged as a commuter option.
