Samsung redesigned the Family Hub’s user interface to give you even more convenience and control. Its four customizable theme screens — smart home, entertainment, family, and cooking — help you keep your life at home organized. You can post videos, leave notes for your family members, and sync your calendars.

Family Hub has evolved to make cooking easier and more convenient, and now, it helps you plan meals like a pro. You can access the new SmartThings Cooking platform from the screen of your Family Hub, or via the SmartThings Cooking app.[1] SmartThings Cooking can recommend recipes that match your preferences and, once you’ve made your selections, create a weekly meal plan. You can even add the necessary ingredients to your grocery shopping list. You can also order groceries directly from our newest shopping partner: Perdue Farms, which offers a large selection of high-quality, premium poultry and other meat products.

Family Hub with Alexa Built-in allows you to access hundreds of thousands of Alexa skills, listen to your morning brief, set timers or alarms, stream Amazon Music, and shop via voice — all from your fridge. You can choose whether to interact with Alexa or Samsung’s voice assistant, Bixby, or even use them simultaneously.
