Do you yearn for the golden era days of 3D platformers filled with bright, colorful environments, super cute characters, and a light, heartwarming story? If so, Kukoos – Lost Pets, from Brazilian indie studio PetitFabrik, might just be exactly what you’re after, and today they’re showing off a brand new trailer and a demo to get people fired up for the game’s release this fall.

On behalf of Brazil Games – an export program created by the Brazilian Game Companies Association, ABRAGAMES, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, we invite you to explore the world of Kukoos and chat with the talented and dedicated group at PetitFabrik — a prominent member of the Brazil Games organization and a shining example of the fantastic work being done in Latin America’s biggest gaming market.

As one of Brazil’s brightest up-and-coming indie studios, the PetitFabrik team is dedicated to producing quality titles with top-tier production values. CEO Olimpio Neto has more than a decade of experience across multiple media disciplines for notable clients such as Samsung, Seagate, and FedEx, and his team has worked with everything from music production to film, television, web apps, and of course, video games. PetitFabrik prides themselves on producing gorgeous digital content that goes through a rigorous revision process to ensure the highest level of quality — with a key focus on quickly producing prototypes to allow for thorough quality control and assessment.

Nominated for Best Console Game at the Game Connection X Chinajoy 2021 Global Game Development Awards and reminiscent of classic Nintendo 3D platformers, Kukoos – Lost Pets drops players into an adorable cartoon world where they must rescue a series of brainwashed pets being held captive by a robot frog. With plenty of collectables and hidden secrets to find, Kukoos – Lost Pets will take players back to legendary titles like Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie. Travel through several gorgeous levels filled with secrets, collectibles, and tricky puzzles, and lead the Kukoos to the answer behind this strange rebellion from the feathered and furry rascals.
