Merge Games Reveals Steam Next Fest and Publisher Sale Plans

Merge Games is excited to reveal their plans for the Steam Next Fest running from 1st – 7th October as well as a publisher sale running simultaneously across many of their titles on Steam. As well as generous discounts applied to a selection of Merge Games titles in the publisher sale, there will be the opportunity to get hands on with some of the excellent games from the publisher’s portfolio, including some new titles scheduled for release later this year.

Leading the way on the Steam Next Fest demos will be the release of the Trading Time Prologue, the upcoming sandbox puzzle game from developer Half Past Yellow. In Trading Time players find themselves as a castaway on an island paradise, solving sticky situations and trading their way to fixing their wrecked ship. Set on an exclusive, desolate island, the Prologue challenges players to come to the aid of the inhabitants and break the curse that has ravaged the land leaving it barren and dying. A variety of puzzles and trials lie in wait and players will revel in Trading Time‘s unique humour.

Alongside Trading Time, Merge Games has confirmed another Steam Next Fest demo for the bullet ridden action game DeathrunTV. Based in a near future world of a 24 hour TV show where contestants risk it all in a fast paced, bullet hell against swarms of rabid mutants. For this demo the team has implemented a new assist mode to cater to the players’ strengths or weaknesses.

There is a selection of other great demos being featured in the publisher sale including the legendary platformer Alex Kidd in Miracle World XD,  the recently released farming action RPG with a twist Monster Harvest, class-based co-op RTS game DwarfHeim and the ‘horrorpunk’ action RPG Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

Fans of co-op RTS will be thrilled to hear that Dwarfheim left Early Access on 27th September and will be available during the publisher sale with an attractive 30% discount until 3rd October. For that extra co-op gaming fix, for those who have purchased the game, their friends can download the Dwarfheim Friend-Pass allowing them to play together for free. You can request review code for Dwarfheim here.

For players looking to grab a great deal, there will be a selection of games discounted in a special publisher sale running from 1st – 3rd October. Alex Kidd, Monster Harvest and Dwarfheim will all be discounted by 30% with Morbid: The Seven Acolytes and Spirit of the North slashed by 60% as well as other great Merge Games included in the publisher sale.

The Merge Games publisher sale runs from 1st – 3rd October, while  Steam Next Fest takes place from 1st – 7th October 2021. For more information please visit www.mergegames.com
