IDOBI RADIO SUMMER SCHOOL TOUR ANNOUNCES THIRD ANNUAL RUN

Today, the annual idobi Radio Summer School Tour announces its return for a hotly anticipated junior year. Founded by Eric Tobin (Hopeless Records), Michael Kaminsky (KMGMT), and Kevin Lyman (Vans Warped Tour) and sponsored by idobi Radio, the North American tour enters its third year in a class of its own. Carrying the torch of a bygone ethos – a traveling festival focused on artist development, community, ticket affordability, and social impact – Summer School is as much an incubator for the next generation of headliners as it is an unrivaled experience for the next generation of concertgoers.

The lineup for this summer includes a group of five independent artists and bands on the verge of breaking out, including Summer School alum Honey Revenge, fresh off the release of their new single “Hot Commodity” and graduating from opener to headliner this year, as well as tour newcomers South ArcadeGames We PlayWinona Fighter, and Chase Petra. In partnership with Live Nation, Summer School will make a stop at The Roxian Theatre in McKees Rocks, PA, on July 10, 2026.

The tour will cap off with a finale in Long Beach, CA, on July 25th: a momentous date in partnership with Vans Warped Tour, where each Summer School artist will perform at the festival. Guitar CenterPeta2 and SJC Drums have also teamed up with the tour as partner sponsors for this year’s run, with Guitar Center providing gear for artists and hosting several in-store appearances and events in select markets.

TICKETS: Tickets will be available with an idobi Radio Summer School Presale starting on February 25. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning on Friday, February 27 at 10 AM. Fans can sign up now for access to the idobi Radio Summer School Presale here.

During its inaugural trek in 2024 and sophomore follow-up last year, the idobi Radio Summer School Tour emerged as one of the brightest new tours in the U.S. “Summer School tours the country channeling the pop-punk spirit of the Warped Tour,”  hailed The Los Angeles Times.

As veterans of both the music business and the scene itself – with decades of collective experience cultivating and supporting artists from the ground level – the founder trio of Michael Kaminsky, Eric Tobin, and Kevin Lyman came together to launch Summer School two years ago after witnessing an industry-wide absence of concerts that truly serve emerging artists and young fans alike. In the current touring and festival landscape, these acts are often relegated to support slots where there’s no moment for them to shine, while ticket prices have soared astronomically.

“When we launched the idobi Radio Summer School tour a few years ago, we wanted to bring something back to the touring landscape that’s been missing for emerging artists as much as the young fans who fuel our local music scenes nationwide,” says founders Eric Tobin, Michael Kaminsky and Kevin Lyman. “From day one, Summer School has been about music discovery and community. A traveling festival with rotating bills, where you show up early, stay all night, and hopefully leave with a new favorite band — all at a ticket price that’s actually affordable. As we head into year three, we could not be more excited and grateful to continue realizing that vision with a lineup as incredible as this one.”

“idobi has always led The Future of Alternative, it’s our slogan!” says Eddie Barella, idobi Network CEO. “Our mission has grown the idobi platform beyond even the biggest terrestrial alternative radio stations. For the third consecutive year, we’re teaming up with partners we truly respect and admire to bring emerging alternative artists we’re passionate about straight to the masses.”
