Hands On: ODDICT Twig PRO Earbuds by Phiaton

Just announced, the Phiaton ODDICT Twig PRO Earbuds. We had a chance to give them a go. Check out what we though about them in our review below.

The ODDICT Twiig PRO use Qualcomm QCC 5141 Technology. This features the new aptX adaptive audio codex for HD Quality sound. This supports 24bit, 48Hz Sound. They also use Bluetooth 5.2 which gives you a long battery life thanks to low power draw.

The ODDICT Twiig PRO Earbuds feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). With the app that links to the Earbuds, you can adjust the ANC. The setting are Off, Ambient, and Noise Cancellation. You can manually adjust the Noice Cancellation from high to low. This lets you set the ANC to your preference for the location and surroundings you are in. According to Phiaton, these earbuds will give you up to 98% noise reduction.

In the app you can also adjust your sound setting. You have EQ setting for Warm, Hard, Cold, and Soft. You can also set them anywhere in between to customise your sound to just how you want.

If you lose an earbud, you can click the ring function and the earbuds will send out a tone to help you locate your lost earbud.

Now that we have covered how the app helps you customize your listening experience, lets get into how they work. First the design. The earbuds fit comfortably in your ears with the tail sticking out similar to AirPods, altho they are a different design. I have worn the ODDICT Twig PRO for several hours at a time while gaming and they are very comfortable and don’t cause any ear strain or pain. The earbuds come with 3 different ear tips to help you get the most comfortable fit you can get and helping to block outside noise.

The ODDICT Twig PRO Earbuds use Bluetooth 5.2 for superior connection to your phone as well as longer battery life. They also have low latency which makes for great gaming and video watching headphones. Low latency means that when something happens on your phone, you hear the sound almost instantly in your ear, same as if it came out of the speakers on your phone. If your playing Call Of Duty and someone comes up behind you, you can hear the footsteps without any delay. As soon as the shot is fired, you instantly hear it. When you are watching movies, the sound you hear and the movement of the lips are the same. No more watching a movie and it looking like a foreign film with bad lip dub.

I can say, that without a doubt, of all the wireless earbuds I have tested, these have the best sound quality of all of them. The Audio is clear and crisp with no distortion. The bass can be heard clear, but not felt (which IMO is just what earbuds need). If you are listening to audio books you can hear the everything crystal clear. If you are watching a movie, you can hear evey bit of dialog, every gunshot, and every background explosion. You can even hear clearly hear Captain America say Hail Hydra.

The battery life of the ODDICT Twiig PRO Earbuds are good for their size. They last for up to 5.5 hours on a single charge while using ANC. You can get up to 15 hours of play time with the charge provided by case.
