APEMAN DEBUTS SMART CYCLING CAMERA SERIES AT CES 2022

apeman, a leading manufacturer of premium consumer electronics, announced the debut of their new SEEKER series, a line of smart cycling cameras sporting their new brand logo and visuals at PEPCOM during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Aimed at providing cutting edge outdoor video and photo technology videography for the avid cyclist, the SEEKER series features a dual screen removable action camera with built-in safety features.  The Seeker series can be experienced at PEPCOM on January 4th at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and can be backed through Kickstarter later in January.

Taking your eyes off the road to glance behind can be unsafe.  The SEEKER R1 aims to address the vulnerability of every cyclist by providing the rider with a clear view of any incoming vehicles from the back.  SEEKER R1 is easy to install and can be mounted onto your bicycle in 3 simple steps. The R1 features the new SEEKER Smart Tail Light which combines an intelligent brake light system, an automated taillight and an anti-collision laser bike lane.  The SEEKER F1, which features a mountable front facing camera, will debut alongside SEEKER R1. It sports a powerful headlight with adjustable light settings, to further enhance your visibility even in the dark.

The SEEKER ONE which comes with both the SEEKER R1 and F1, is a powerful modular action camera, powered by Ambarella’s H22E85 processing chip. H22S85 is a system-on-chip that integrates an advanced image sensor pipeline (ISP), H.265 (HEVC) and H.264 (AVC) encoders , and a powerful Quad core ARM® Cortex™-A53 CPU for advanced analytics, multi-streaming capability for preview, multi sensor support, combining extreme performance and low power.

Go APE – the proprietary companion app, is now integrated with the all-new Go APE SR Sense Mode. When paired, the SEEKER R1 and F1 can keep you informed on your vital information (speed, distance, altitude changes and others) while acting as your personal digital dashboard. This app also allows you to edit and share your contents instantly. Built with your safety in mind, the SEEKER series ensures that nothing goes unnoticed or uncaptured.

 About apeman
apeman was established in 2016 by a team of avid explorers who wanted to combine both their passions and their love for the latest technology. In 2019, apeman won its first European Product Design Award, and continued to innovate and design new solutions. The new stylized orange ape logo was inspired by the shape of a warrior’s helm and a pair of sports goggles. Encapsulating the essence and the core identity of apeman is the warm orange color, representing boldness, youthfulness, and authenticity. These new visuals will also mark their new beginnings and their entry to the premium electronics space.
