What are the latest trends in BMW tuning?

As any BMW owner knows, the car is a work of art. Its sleek design and powerful engine make it one of the most popular cars on the road. But even the best car can be improved with a little tuning. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the latest trends in BMW tuning.

Trends in power upgrades:

One of the most popular trends in BMW tuning is adding power. In this case, more power means a higher top speed and better acceleration. Most owners opt for a software upgrade which can add up to 30 horsepower to the car’s engine. That might not seem like a lot, but it makes a big difference on the road! The same can be said for a turbo system or supercharger. The turbo and supercharger boost the power of the engine, which increases acceleration and torque. Especially with the n55 tuning you can get as much as 70+ hp, so definitely worth it.

Trends in exterior design:

Another trend we’ve seen is more emphasis on exterior modifications like spoilers and splitters. One of our favourite designs is called a “ducktail spoiler.” It’s made to look like it’s spreading across the back of the car and integrates with the taillights. There are also splitters that replace a lip spoiler at the front of the car. We’ve seen lots of different colours and designs coming out this year, so owners can customize their cars even more!

Trends in suspension upgrades:

BMW owners also like to upgrade their suspension. An upgraded suspension will feel more comfortable and stable, even on bumpy roads. Most owners prefer lowering springs that lower the car’s centre of gravity while giving it a more sleek look. It might not seem like much but lowering your car is definitely a way to change the way people perceive your car.

Trends in the wheel and tire upgrades:

BMW owners are also putting more emphasis on the look of their wheels. One trend is known as “mesh design.” It involves replacing the original rims with a new mesh that covers large parts of the wheel. There’s also coloured lining around the tire that gives it a unique style, or aftermarket rims that can be painted and customized to the owner’s preference. What car is complete without a unique set of wheels?

Trends in engine tuning:

Lastly, one trend that many BMW owners are into is engine tuning. There are two main types of tuning: ECU tuning or full engine tuning. When you choose your ECU, the car’s computer has an option to change the fuel injection timing at different RPM levels. This can increase horsepower and torque by 10% or more depending on the car. Engine tuning is more extensive and involves changing the engine components like the air intake, exhaust system or turbocharger. This can lead to an increase of up to 50 horsepower on some cars!

Trends in brake system upgrades:

One less popular trend in BMW tuning is brake upgrades. More owners are putting a focus on the braking system to help bring their car’s stopping distance down. You can do this through an upgrade on your brake pads or new rotors at the wheels. This will decrease stopping distance and make riding in traffic more comfortable.

Sometimes newer models come with larger brakes and owners like to keep up this trend by upgrading.

Trends in infotainment:

One last trend we’ve seen lately is more emphasis on the car’s infotainment system. More people are purchasing aftermarket GPS units that integrate into their car’s dashboard. It can be hard for some cars to integrate aftermarket GPS units because of the different infotainment systems out there. BMW owners are especially adamant about keeping their car’s infotainment system up to date. After all, it usually comes with the latest technology!

Trends in luxury upgrades:

Luxury is also a big focus for many owners. They like to upgrade the feel of their cabin. Adding things like heated seats, leather upholstery and alloy trim will improve the look and feel of the car’s interior. It also makes it easier to clean up messes after kids or pets!

Trends in exterior luxury:

Another type of upgrade is an exterior luxury. Let’s face it, if you’re going to be buying a BMW, you probably want to show it off. Some owners will spend a lot of money on things like custom chrome rims or high-end paint jobs with metallic flakes. Or maybe you want a set of aftermarket tail lights that really accent the car’s body lines? There are endless possibilities here!

As you can see, there are many different trends in BMW tuning this year. Some people are focusing on engine upgrades, while others are upgrading the look and feel of their car through luxury additions. There’s something for everyone when it comes to tuning your BMW! If you’re thinking of upgrading your car, be sure to check out some of these trends first. You might find exactly what you’re looking for!
