Plug-In-Review: EZQuest USB-C Gen 2 Hub Adapter 7-Ports

Apple makes some of the best laptops, tablets and phones out there but sometimes they lack on certain features that most people don’t realize. My Apple Macbook Pro only has 2 USB C ports and this just doesn’t work for me when I am working on the website or podcast. When recording an episode I generally need to have 3-4 cables plugged in at once. This isn’t possible with just the laptop. Thankfully I was able to review the EZQuest USB-C Gen 2 Hub Adapter.

As usual, let’s start with the appearance because we’re all a little conceited and don’t like our products to be ugly. This adapter is sleek, lays flat with the extra long cable and has the perfect placement of ports to allow for multiple items to be plugged in without overcrowding. The light grey color matches my laptop well and looks like it belongs on my desk at all times. The threaded cable adds even more depth to the already crisp look of the entire product.

Performance is my next topic I would like to cover with you. As I said, Apple dropped the ball only adding 2 USB C ports on my laptop. When recording The DILFS Podcast, I generally have to plug in a few different plugs to work. Having this hub available keeps all the cables out of the way and allows me to plug them all in without one of them losing their power. The other benefit of this hub is that it has a male USB C plug. I previously would have to use a USB adapter to plug anything in.

This hub is a great size as well, measuring in at  L 222mm X W 40mm X H 13mm. This is very nice especially when using this on the go at the local coffee shop or in a hotel room. The cable being an incredible 9 inches also wraps around it well for travel and storage. Plus it weighs practically nothing so you never even feel it in you bag.

Overall, very happy with the workability of this hub. It provides all of the space you need for plug ins and space you need on your desk unlike other bulky ones. It has a very sleek and clean design that is eye catching and it is very portable. Price point comes in at $79.99. Head over to EZQuest to check it out and see their full line up of products!
