Publisher Assemble Entertainment Donates Steam Special Edition Revenue to Ukrainian Red Cross
German publisher Assemble Entertainment announced today its support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people facing the current crisis situation via a major financial commitment for the month of March 2022. Supporting the Ukrainian Red Cross relief efforts, the publisher and its partnered charities, including OneTreePlanted, Ocean Cleanup, GoGiveOne, Atmosfair, and ShareTheMeal, warmly band together to donate revenue contributions from their “Save the World” editions of its games on Steam.
For the month of March, players who purchase one of Assemble’s Save the World editions for its popular titles such as the new entries in the Leisure Suit Larry saga, Endzone – A World Apart, ITORAH, Orbital Bullet, Sphere – Flying Cities, and others, will not only receive bonus digital content but can feel good in knowing their contribution will go toward Ukrainian relief efforts.
In making the announcement, Assemble Entertainment founder and CEO Stefan Marcinek remarked, “All of us at Assemble Entertainment are deeply shocked and stunned by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Out of the desire to support the Ukrainian people amidst this cruel and surreal situation, immediate discussions arose internally on how we, as a relatively small German games publisher, could make a difference. We collectively decided to donate Save the World edition contributions collected during March to the Ukrainian Red Cross. We’re doing this with the hope of alleviating some of the suffering endured by the Ukrainian people as we look forward to a quick and peaceful resolution to the conflict.”
