  • StreamTV, the leading provider of digital products and services to engage streamers, viewers and brands in the livestreaming space, today launches a new partnership with Epidemic Sound, the market-leading platform for restriction-free music.
  • The partnership will enable streamers to soundtrack their livestreams with thousands of tracks and sound effects, without having to worry about copyright violations.
  • The collaboration opens up Epidemic Sound’s music to be heard on the world’s biggest streaming platforms, expanding the reach of music creators’ tracks to potential new listeners and fans.

Stockholm, Sweden, March 29, 2022 –  Today, StreamTV and Epidemic Sound announced a new partnership aimed at helping gamers and content creators soundtrack their livestreams. Through the partnership, OWN3D Pro by StreamTV users will now have access to more than 10,000 restriction-free tracks and 25,000 sound effects from Epidemic Sound’s library, enabling them to find the right music for their livestreams without worrying about extra fees or copyright claims.

This new offering, combined with OWN3D Pro’s existing streaming design library, including hundreds of overlays and other supporting features, provides streamers with an all-in-one tool for easy and stress-free streaming across Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube. Previously, streamers have had to simultaneously use two or more streaming tools or widgets to achieve the same result. Now, they can find everything they need to amp up their broadcast in one place.

“Creative content and music are essential elements for entertaining streams and ultimately a successful livestreaming career,” explains Thomas Rafelsberger, CEO of StreamTV. “By partnering with Epidemic Sound, we can now offer our users access to an impressive and varied catalog of royalty-free music and sounds to help them level-up their streaming.”

“We are very excited to team up with StreamTV to provide streamers with thousands of high-quality royalty-free music tracks and sound effects for livestreams,” said Tom Höglund, Chief Business Development Officer, Epidemic Sound. “From curated Gaming EDM tracks to the perfect background tracks for chatting around, we have an endless assortment of playlists and sounds for streamers to choose from without ever getting copyright strikes or DMCA takedowns.”

This first of its kind partnership also aims to solve the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) challenge faced by millions of streamers worldwide. The DMCA has caused regular waves of bans for streamers since its introduction in 1998, forcing streamers to delete their videos. Through this partnership, OWN3D Pro users will be able to safely add royalty-free music to their livestreams and avoid takedowns thanks to Epidemic Sound.

Epidemic Sound’s gaming songs and playlists are currently used by NBA 2K League USA, Paradox from Sweden, and Rovio.

Free and paid OWN3D Pro + Epidemic Sound plans are now available. As a free user, streamers can play songs and playlists for 30 minutes within 24 hours. In addition, they have access to 25 free sound effects from different sound categories – a selection that resets and reshuffles every day – for use for alerts. Paid subscription plans start at $17.99 per month. Music Day Passes, which provide users full access to the content library for 24 hours, are also available.
