Atari’s All-New Puzzle-Platformer Kombinera is Now Available on All Platforms
Atari® — one of the world’s most iconic consumer brands and interactive entertainment producers — is electrified to announce the release of their newest original game, the vivid puzzle-platformer Kombinera.
This exciting new entry in Atari’s catalog of acclaimed titles is available now on Atari VCS, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5, iOS and Android mobile devices, and Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. In classic Atari fashion, Kombinera is an easy to learn and devilishly tricky to master puzzler presenting daunting challenges that are difficult to put down.
“The Atari brand was built by creating games that brought excitement and joy to a generation of players — and that is our focus now. We are working with creative studios like Graphite Lab, who are helping us build a bridge between our past and present,” said Atari CEO Wade Rosen. “With its simple visual style and approachable gameplay, Kombinera is not only a great modern game, it fits naturally within our portfolio of retro and retro-inspired games.”

Boasting 300 levels with an increasing difficulty slider, Kombinera challenges players to do more than just ponder their orbs. Players are in control of multiple colored spheres, each with their own unique perks and abilities. Jump, dodge, and roll in brightly colorful unison while avoiding dangerous obstacles such as wall spikes, barriers, and more! In addition to presenting some seriously mind-melding challenges, this luminescent puzzler also tells a heartwarming story of reunion and the friends made along the way as you aim to save King Kombine for the Kave of Kaos.
Key Features of Kombinera Include:
- Progress through 300 increasingly complex puzzles and challenge yourself to achieve best times on each
- Identify each colored orb’s special ability and utilize each (or a combination) to complete each perilous puzzle and level
- Encounter new hazards and abilities that’ll keep you on your toes level after level
- An in-depth, complex, and heart-tugging storyline complements traditionally simplistic gameplay
- Accessible controls optimized on each platform for ultra approachable pick-up-and-play fun
Developed by Graphite Lab and published by Atari, Kombinera is available now on Atari VCS, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5, iOS and Android mobile devices, and Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store for $14.99.
