Pittsburgh Native Supports TOPGUN while serving at Naval Air Station Fallon
FALLON, Nev.– A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native is serving with Naval Air Station Fallon supporting TOPGUN aviators at the Navy’s premier tactical air warfare training center.
Petty Officer 1st Class Amanda Taylor is a 2009 Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School graduate and 2013 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
“Pittsburgh taught me that we need a support system. and that usually comes with a family who is not even there,” said Taylor. “They will always be there for you, just distanced, especially while I am in the military and traveling.”
