The Top Cloud Service Providers and Their Benefits

As a company trying to get into cloud computing, the number of choices can be a little overwhelming. That’s why we’ve taken the time today to list out our picks for the top cloud service providers and their benefits. That way, it’ll be easier for you to narrow down which one is the best option for you.

Amazon Web Services

As they are in many industries, Amazon is one of the titans in the cloud computing sector. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the most used cloud services on the market. Boasting a 99.99% uptime guarantee and an exceptionally helpful customer support system, it’s no wonder that AWS has made a name for itself. Of course, it would be nice if AWS’s pricing structure was a little more straightforward, but with the sheer number of services offered, this complication comes as no surprise.

Microsoft Azure

Coming in slightly after Amazon, we have Microsoft Azure that promises a 99.95% uptime for its services. While that difference is negligible, no one likes the feeling of not being able to access their data due to server issues.

However, Azure has still made a name for itself in the cloud computing space. Azure is constantly updating its services and security to protect against hackers and DDoS attacks. Plus, Microsoft Azure services are some of the easiest to use in the business, and they’re not shy about showing what makes them so straightforward for users.

Google Cloud Platform

Of course, it wouldn’t be a tech race if Google wasn’t involved. Although Google may be a bit further behind our previous two entries, that doesn’t mean you should count it out; Google is the creator of the Kubernetes standard, after all.

Other than that, the Google Cloud Platform offers its users impressive features such as virtual private clouds, API management, and serverless computing. On top of that, they also provide substantial discounts on their services to draw in users who are unsure about the higher price points of AWS and Azure.

Oracle Cloud

We didn’t want our list of the top cloud service providers and their benefits to only have choices from the most well-known tech companies, so we decided to include Oracle Cloud as our final entry. Despite that, Oracle is still one of the largest software companies in the world, so the company undoubtedly knows what it’s doing when it comes to cloud computing.

If you already use some of Oracle’s products, the integration will be pretty seamless. Even if you don’t, Oracle’s system utilizes a very user-friendly interface and focuses on scalability, making it an excellent place for smaller companies to grow. The icing on the cake for this service is that Oracle offers a free tier, which is perfect for those looking to get their foot in the door in the world of cloud computing.
