Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Makes Crossover Into The Iconic Journey

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay today release a free crossover update taking AirPlay’s gothic side-scrolling action RPG into the realm of Journey, the Grammy-nominated atmospheric hit from Sony Interactive Entertainmentthatgamecompany, and Annapurna Interactive.

In this update available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles, Stadia and Luna via streaming, as well as PC via Steam, GOG, EA Origin and Game Pass, discover The Tunnels, a new location inspired by the stunning, somber environments that resonated with Journey fans worldwide. Rising tapestries, a rich desert background, and other iconic design motifs lend Bloodstained a more contemplative, labyrinthine mood.

Despite this change of pace, Miriam’s dynamic, fast-paced combat remains as satisfying as ever. Overcome the Guardian Dragon boss, designed to resemble Journey’s awe-inspiring Guardians, and earn the Mystical Scarf. Resembling Journey’s beloved red scarf, this powerful armor improves Defense, Int, and Mind while providing additional resistance to the elements of Fire and Light.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available on PlayStation 5 + PlayStation 4Xbox Series X|S + Xbox OneNintendo Switch, and PC via Steam | GOG. This update will be available in Asia on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch on Aug 23rd, published by H2 Interactive in HK, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and by Digital Touch in Korea.
