Warpath Developers Lead Commanders into the 5.0 Update in New Devlog

Now that you’re boots on the ground with Warpath 5.0, the Lilith Games generals appeared for a debriefing. The Warpath Developer “Face-to-Face” devlog for Update 5.0 features game designers Yang and Arlen and Lead Artist Tory offering intel about the game’s new units, matchmaking, and game balancing. They explain how modern warfare is a literal game-changer in the real-time strategy wargame for iOS and Android devices.

The latest Warpath 5.0 update supply drop introduces the helicopter and main battle tank. Helicopters are the army group’s newest ground force unit. It can fly over enemies, mountains, and rivers, while being as powerful as a tank destroyer. As for the main battle tank, it combines the middle tank’s speed with the heavy tank’s heft. You’ll want to send them after enemy bases for the full destructive effect. Our latest report notes that once a server is live for 180 days, it and other units can be upgraded to Modern Units for more modern warfare.

Yang emphasized how important expanding players’ experience is to Lilith Games when it comes to Warpath, noting, “Continuing to provide new content and new game experiences is always one of our most important jobs.”
