Should players go trick-or-treating at the official website’s proverbial door between October 28-31, they’ll find something even better than candy: free access to the paid cheats for Alan Wake Remastered, Alien: Isolation, and Dead Space! And while you are using those fiendishly frightful cheats, you’ll also get to enjoy a festive Halloween skin for PLITCH itself.
Normally, Alan Wake Remastered‘s free PLITCH cheats let you do things like set how many batteries you have, recharge your flashlight, or enjoy unlimited stamina. But with the premium cheats you’ll get for free over Halloween, you can activate Godmode, enjoy an unlimited car battery or unlimited flashlight energy, and have unlimited ammo and throwables with no reload times.
With Alien: Isolation, PLITCH makes it easier to bear being alone when facing off against a Xenomorph. You can make survival a little easier by turning on Godmode, giving yourself infinite ammo, and ensuring your flashlight will never run out. But if you are feeling a bit sorry for your alien “friend,” you can always set cheats like “invisible for alien” and “no reload” to make it a little easier for the extraterrestrial.
When you head back to the Ishimura in Dead Space, PLITCH will ensure you’re ready to face the Necromorphs lurking in the dark. Sure, unlimited ammo and 5,000 credits are a good start. But these extra “treats” will give you extra power nodes, unlimited statis energy, and of course that coveted Godmode.
After grabbing PLITCH, you’ll find some new fiends waiting for you with its Halloween skin. A pumpkin-headed hobgoblin will be watching you from the other side of the screen when you go through its many menus while engaging in your trickery. Not to mention that whenever you select cheats or carry out your affairs, a witch will appear out of nowhere to cackle and shriek in approval of the mischief you’re about to manage.
