NEW SNOWY ISLANDS DLC BRINGS BUNDLES OF WINTER FUN TO LITTLE CITIES

Wrap up warm, pop on your headset and relax into a dazzling snowscape of creative possibilities with Little Cities’ Snowy Islands DLC – out now on Meta Quest and Quest 2.

Our first ever paid DLC brings a bundle of snowy shenanigans to VR’s most-loved city creator, making Little Cities the perfect companion to snuggle up with this winter. Let your creativity flow with two new snow-covered islands, plus a generous sprinkling of new buildings, Attractions and utilities to totally transform your mini metropolis.

Experienced Little Cities players will discover new gameplay challenges, with sub-zero temperatures freezing up water supplies and an all-new avalanche disaster tumbling into town that’ll require rapid repairs. Plus, maximum cosiness is ensured with a host of new adorably themed mini-stories, featuring penguins, narwhals…and even rumours of a yeti sighting!

“Winter offers so many creative possibilities and we can’t wait to see our amazing community’s new cities come to life in Snowy Islands,” said James Howard, co-founder of Purple Yonder. “Adding more islands to the game has been a key goal of ours since launch, as well as being a popular community request, and we hope players will enjoy this fresh take on cozy city creation.”

Little Cities is the debut title from husband-and-wife team Purple Yonder and published by VR veterans nDreams. Since its launch in May 2022, Little Cities has won critical acclaim for its VR-first design, its intuitive UI and its accessible gameplay. UploadVRnamed Little Cities the ninth best Quest 2 game of all-time, saying “Little Cities is the best city simulator game on any VR platform”. The game also featured in TechRadar’s list of best Quest 2 games of 2022, being hailed as the “best example of the [city sim] genre on Quest 2”.

Snowy Islands marks the start of a flurry of new content for Little Cities. The next update, “Itty Bitty Citizenry” will release in early 2023, bringing tiny feet to the streets of your city, so you can get to know your residents a little bit better! Hot on the heels of Little Cities’ arrival on the Pico Store this November, there’s more platform announcements (and even more content!) to come in 2023.

Snowy Islands DLC is out now for $6.99/£4.99 and can be purchased in-game or as an Add-on from the Meta Store. Little Cities newcomers can save by picking up both the full game and Snowy Islands in a special Bundle.
