Always remove the batteries first, before dislodging clogged snow from the auger or discharge chute. Frigid temperatures can affect battery performance, so when not in use, store the batteries when temperatures dip below 32°F.
Ideal conditions for the cordless snow blower are freshly fallen, dry fluffy snow. For wet snow and heavy snow fall conditions, remove snow in intervals to avoid motor strain. Also, when positioning the discharge chute, note the wind’s direction so the snow isn’t thrown back in the direction of the operator or path being cleared.
