FUTURLAB’S POWERWASH SIMULATOR  REACHES SEVEN MILLION PLAYERS AND APPOINTS NEW CFO

Award winning game developer FuturLab is thrilled to announce that its surprise indie hit, PowerWash Simulator has reached a huge seven million players, doubling their player count in the last six months.

Kirsty Rigden, Co-CEO, FuturLab said: “With over 7 million players, we are honoured that so many people have found their zen with PowerWash Simulator. The strength in our community is palpable. Since we launched into Early Access, the support for our soothing sim has been immense, and we are extremely grateful that this has continued to strengthen past release.”

This news comes alongside FuturLab’s most recent appointment; industry veteran Steve Tinkler who will be taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer at the studio. Steve has a background of working with fast growing entrepreneurial businesses, with previous roles including Director within Epic’s Strategic Finance team and CFO at Mediatonic, where he supported the business through the breakout success of Fall Guys.

When discussing his appointment Steve Tinkler said: “FuturLab has some incredibly exciting plans. I’m delighted to be working with James Marsden, Kirsty Rigden, Chris Mehers and the team to help support the next phase of our growth.”
