Creative Director of the Pixel Ripped series, Ana Ribeiro, and ARVORE CEO Ricardo Justus discuss how it all started. After starting the journey as a one-woman studio, Ana joined ARVORE and the Pixel Ripped series went turbo mode. A whole team of designers and developers worked with Ana to create something truly magical. Now, four games later, and tons of experience under their belts, the team at ARVORE partnered with Atari to take the franchise to new heights.
The team at ARVORE shows what it’s like working with one of the very few series that have been around long enough to be considered a true VR franchise. Pixel Ripped has gained a large, vocal following, and the team shares how they interact with fans and incorporate their feedback. ARVORE is driven to make truly great games that push the boundaries of what VR can accomplish technically, along with what types of stories can be told through the medium. And with Pixel Ripped 1978, the team expanded their artistic capabilities and doubled down on what makes their games so great — surpassing expectations.
Pixel Ripped 1978 launches this summer on Steam VR, PS VR2, and Meta Quest 2. Wishlist now or learn more at the official website.
