AION Classic EU Roadmap Revealed; MMORPG Increasing Level Cap, Adding New Regions and More

Following the launch of AION Classic’s EU server, the free-to-play MMORPG has gone from strength to strength with hundreds of thousands of created characters, along with millions of completed quests! To celebrate, publisher Gameforge is revealing the AION Classic EU roadmap, letting fans know what to expect in the coming months.

Beginning with the AION Classic EU 2.0 update coming this summer (estimated arrival end of July), players will be able to grow their power and become ever stronger when the level cap is increased to level 55. Additionally, new regions Inggison and Gelkmaros will provide fresh fantasy locations to explore, along with eight new PvP and PvE instances to enjoy.

Later this year, additional PvE and PvP instances will be added, offering a popular selection of old favorites and brand-new instances. 

Summer 2023: AION Classic EU 2.0

  • New level cap 55:
    • Additional gear
    • Additional crafting skill levels
    • Additional gathering skill levels
  • New regions with Inggison and Gelkmaros
  • PvE instances:
    • Udas Temple
    • Lower Udas Temple
      • Beshmundir Temple
    • Taloc’s Hollow
    • Upper Abyss instances
    • Esoterrace
  • PvP instances:
    • Chantra Dredgion
    • Tiak Research Base (6v6)

Additionally, Gameforge has announced a range of freebies being offered to players following the recent DDoS attacks, which the team was able to swiftly address. The rewards include free Siel’s Energy, 270 Qunas, and scroll bundles. More information on these can be found here
