Brushless String Trimmer; WORX Nitro 20V Pruning Shear/Lopper or the handy 20V Shear/Shrubber. These tools make yard work easier and less time consuming.

The new WORX Nitro 20V, 13 in. Brushless String Trimmer is lightweight, nicely balanced and easy to maneuver delivering the power and performance to handle trimming and edging needs.

No more hard starts, exhaust fumes, trips to the gas station or need for oil and sparkplugs. Plus, the WORX 20V battery is compatible with up to 100 other WORX 20V, 40V and 80V lawn and garden, DIY tools and lifestyle products for cost savings and convenience.

This full-feature trimmer includes Command Feed which automatically advances trimmer line instantly.  The user electronically controls when to feed more line by pressing a push-button activator. Plus, the trimmer features dual-exit line feed using .065 line.

The head of the straight shaft trimmer ratchets from 0 to 90°.  This allows the user to trim in hard-to-reach areas such as beneath decks, between shrubs and other obstructed areas.

The 3-in-1 trimmer/edger/mini-mower is a powerful grass trimmer, a precision edger, and a mini-mower – all in one. Its twist-and-edge feature easily converts the trimmer into a wheeled, walk-behind edger for edging driveways, sidewalks, walkways and

patios. The trimmer’s shaft is adjustable to match the user’s height and posture. Plus, the brushless trimmer has a 13 in. cutting swathwg173-product.jpg

The 20V 13 in. string trimmer features a dependable highly-efficient brushless motor that provides up to 50 percent longer run time, 25 percent more power and 10 times longer life than standard brushed motors. The brushless motor runs cooler with less friction and heat buildup than conventional motors, resulting in smooth, reliable operation and extended tool life.

The WORX Nitro  20V, 13 in. Brushless String Trimmer (WG173, $139.99) includes one, 20V 4.0Ah MAX lithium battery with charge level indicator, and a 2A, 2 hour charger.  A bare tool version, minus the battery and charger (WG173.9, $89.99) also is available. It’s available at worx.com. The trimmer is covered by WORX three-year limited warranty.

WG330-lifestyle2.jpgUnlike a manual pruner, the WORX Nitro 20V Pruning Shear/Lopper with brushless motor provides the power and performance to clean cut branches, shrubs and roots up to 1 in. diameter. The lightweight, 2.38 lbs. cordless pruning shear features an electronic sensor. Requires a specific startup procedure to avoid accidental startup.

The pruning shear/lopper functions like a bypass hand pruner. The difference is there’s no hand strength required to make the cut. The cordless lopper drives through the cut with the power of its 20V 2.0Ah MAX lithium battery and brushless motor, which generates 9000-12000 N of torque.

The lopper incorporates a titanium-coated, durable carbon steel cutting blade, which improves its lifespan by up to three times longer or more than a standard steel blade. The titanium’s blade’s non-stick surface makes cleanup easy, and it’s corrosion resistant.

The pruning shear/lopper employs a high-efficiency brushless motor that provides 25 percent more power and 50 percent longer runtime than comparable brushed motors. The brushless motor also runs cooler with less friction and heat buildup than conventional motors with brushes, resulting in smooth, reliable operation. It also provides 10 times longer life than standard motors.

The pruning shear/lopper has an elongated body with a rubber overmold handle grip and two-finger safety trigger. The cutting action is performed with the upper titanium blade, while the bottom steel blade remains fixed.

WG330-product.jpgThe tool includes a WORX 20V 2.0Ah MAX lithium battery with charge level indicator and a one-hour battery charger.  The WORX 20V 2.0Ah MAX lithium battery is compatible with up to 100 other WORX 20V, 40V and 80V lawn and garden and DIY tools and lifestyle products for cost savings and convenience.

The WORX Nitro 20V Pruning Shear/Lopper (WG330, $129.99) is available at worx.com and online retailers including Walmart.com, Target.com and Amazon. A bare tool version, minus the battery and charger, also is available (WG330.9, $89.99) at worx.com. The powered pruner is covered by the WORX three-year limited warranty.

The WORX 20V 4 in. Shear and 8 in. Shrubber is ideal for light trimming jobs. The, two-way trimmer covert in seconds from a 4 in. shear to an 8 in. shrubber, and can be outfitted with an optional, wheeled pole extension.

Combination shear/shrubbers have been available, but most are plug-ins with 3.6 or 7.2 volt batteries. WORX 20V Shear/Shrubber is more powerful to get jobs done, plus the battery is compatible with a number of other tools as well.

The 20V Shear/Shrubber has a 4 in. grass trimming blade, which is used to trim sidewalks, driveways, patios, around tree trunks, lawn ornaments, andwg801-lifestyle.jpg fence lines.  By adding the optional wheeled extension pole (WA0041, $54.99) jobs become easier by eliminating stooping and bending. The extension pole adjusts 27 in. to 44 in. to the user’s height and posture.

wg801.jpgSwap out the 4 in. grass shear for the 8 in. dual-action steel, shrubber blades and it’s a one-handed, compact and lightweight hedger for trimming and shaping. At 1100 no-load spm, its cutting capacity is 5/16 in. At 2.0 lbs. (w/battery) it’s less than half the weight of a conventional hedge trimmer making it easier to maneuver, especially in hard-to-reach areas.

The WORX 20V 4 in. Shear and 8 in. Shrubber (WG801, $99.99) is available at worx.com and online retailers including Lowes.com, Walmart.com, Target.com and Amazon. A bare tool version minus the battery and charger (WG801.9, $59.99) also is available. The shear/shrubber includes a 20V 2.0Ah battery, 4 hr. charger, 4 in. grass shear blade and 8 in. shrubber blade. The tool is covered by the WORX three-year warranty.
