Atari Reveals Teaser Trailer for Quantum: Recharged at BIG Festival

As part of Atari’s headlining presence at BIG Festival 2023, the iconic publisher revealed the first teaser trailer Quantum: Recharged, the newest entry in the popular Atari Recharged series. A dazzling reimagining of the arcade-era classic, Quantum: Recharged sees players take the command of an agile spacecraft, having to evade and maneuver around scores of enemies, trapping them and creating devastating eruptions in a glorious cosmic dance.

Quantum: Recharged tasks players with surviving and vanquishing enemy waves, but not with the usual phaser blasts or laser bombs. Instead, players will skillfully encircle and trap groups of foes with their ship, creating lethal dead zones that annihilate all trapped within. Without any way to initiate direct engagement, Quantum: Recharged presents a challenge where players must navigate with precision to evade and advance through progressively demanding levels, mastering the maneuverability of their vessel.

40 years after the arcade debut of the original QuantumQuantum: Recharged reinvigorates the classic with vibrantly bold updated visuals and power-ups, chaotic multiplayer co-op, two challenging game modes, and a fresh new score composed by Atari soundtrack veteran Megan McDuffee.
