An earnest love letter to Lovecraftian horror, ’90s anime, and old-school dating sims, this sequel seeks to recreate the most memorable and nostalgic aspects of each faithfully. Players will find themselves trapped in the murmuring, pulsating, undulating heart of the woods, seeing their quest for survival slowly morph into a blossoming, if not horrifying, love. Though Rhok’zan attempts her wicked wiles, she’ll discover that this acolyte isn’t easy to mold in her sultry hands.
Sucker for Love: Date to Die For spotlights often overlooked members of the LGBTQIA+ community with Stardust, an asexual woman of color who isn’t driven by love. Subverting the typical visual novel dating tropes, players embodying Stardust will find themselves being the one pursued… in more ways than one. The item to keep these persistent Eldritch waifus off your back: a good old-fashioned spray bottle! 🔫.
Sucker for Love: Date to Die For launches for Windows PC on February 14, 2024. Fans can wishlist the game on Steam and download the demo today.
Prequel title Sucker For Love: First Date is available on Windows PC (and is Steam Deck Playable) via Steam and on Nintendo Switch.
