Since its commercial launch, Lexilens eyewear is used by 5000+ dyslexic readers in 36+ countries with 92% user satisfaction. Abeye received several awards including the “Small and Medium Business of theyear 2023” by trophies RMC, a national contest for SMBs with 1000+ applicants.
Lexilens eyewear embeds electronics that control the active lenses in a way that suppresses the “internal crowding” in the visual cortex, the very one causing reading disorders.
Once activated, the lenses instantaneously improve reading fluency and comprehension; they also gradually improve memorization and learning abilities. Beyond reading ability, most young users point out the benefit of restored self confidence and social inclusion.
Activating the lenses is as simple as pushing aunique on/off button located on the spectacle right temple. A initial calibration can be done by the user alone using a Bluetooth connection with a dedicated app. Smartphone connectivity is not required afterward as settings are saved in the device.
Lexilens screen is a computer monitor embedding the patented Lexilens technology. It instantaneously improves reading fluency and comprehension without having to wear Lexilens spectacles. Intended for work environments, it includes a Full HD resolution and HDMI connectivity. Lexilens screen is available for pre-order (shipping September 2024).
ABEYE ambitions to push forward inclusion in the workplace and boost performance of the dyslexic workers whose tasks involve computer work.
All visitors are invited to ABEYE booth to try it live.
