Revisit Modiphius Entertainment’s Biggest Releases of 2023 and Look Ahead at 2024

From launching its new original transmedia IP, Dreams and Machines, to bringing players new experiences in its many product lines, including Star Trek Adventures and Fallout: The Roleplaying Game, Modiphius Entertainment has had a massive 2023. As the year comes to a close, it’s time to revisit the biggest news and releases and look ahead at what’s in store for 2024.

Biggest News and Releases in 2023


Dreams and Machines — Science-fiction, fantasy, mechs, and the post-apocalypse collide with dramatic storytelling, explosive action, and intriguing mysteries in Modiphius Entertainment’s new transmedia property! The franchise kicked off this year with the card-based RPG starter set and the core RPG line. In 2024 and beyond, Modiphius is planning a skirmish miniatures game, novelizations, a television show, and video games to expand the far-off world of Evera Prime.

Star Trek Adventures — In 2023, Modipius introduced two exciting new ways to venture into the final frontier! The Star Trek Adventures: Lower Decks Campaign Book expands upon the core Star Trek Adventures roleplaying game experience by providing detailed advice on creating junior officers and using them to tell amazing Star Trek-style stories with the fun, irreverent tone presented in Star Trek: Lower DecksStar Trek Adventures: Captain’s Log Solo Roleplaying Game uses the award-winning rules of Star Trek Adventures to give a unique gameplay style, letting Star Trek™ fans record their own captain’s logs for the first time!

Fallout: The Roleplaying Game— A dangerous new sect of the Church of the Children of Atom has arrived in the Commonwealth in the first campaign book for Fallout: The Roleplaying Game. The Winter of Atom Quest Book allows players to explore frozen wastelands, survive the harsh winter, battle terrifying and relentless foes, and do whatever it takes to keep the Commonwealth from becoming ground zero once more.

Dune: Adventures in the Imperium —  The spice was flowing in 2023, as Modiphius released several supplements for Dune: Adventures in the ImperiumThe Great Game: Houses of the Landsraad allows players to delve deeper into the politics of the Imperium, Power and Pawns: The Emperor’s Court expands the player’s role from mere agents to rulers of their Houses, and the Desert Planet – Adventure Compendium Vol 1 collects four popular digital release adventures and collates them into a new Arrakis campaign.

Fallout: Wasteland Warfare — Plenty of new faces were welcomed to the Wasteland this year! Bring the never-ending conflict between the shadowy Enclave and the heroic Brotherhood of Steel to life with the Capital wave of miniatures. Pledge allegiance to one of the three gangs and engage in a multi-stage war for a theme park with the Nuka World wave of miniatures. The Nuka World Rules Expansion also makes significant updates to the Fallout: Wasteland Warfare base game to streamline the gameplay experience.

The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms —  With a new Starter Set and the Chapter 4 wave of miniatures released in 2023, Tamriel has never felt more alive! Battle the fearsome and terrifying Draugr, summon the dead with necromancers, and learn from the undisputed master of magic at the College of Winterhold in Chapter 4 of The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms.

Achtung! Cthulhu — The Secret War rages on! In 2023, Actung! Cthulhu took agents all over the world on exciting new missions. The Serpent and the Sands guide and campaign book details the conflict in Africa and pits players against an ophidian sorceress bent on reviving the Serpent Empire in an epic 10-part campaign. The Vive La Resistance sourcebook introduces new Resistance archetypes like Assassin, Saboteur, Propagandist, or Resistance Leader to help the player fight back. And Mission Dossier 2: The Dark Beyond compiles five exciting adventures that can be played as one-offs, linked together, or easily incorporated into existing campaigns.

Five Parsecs License Acquisition — In June of 2023, Modiphius announced the acquisition of Five Parsecs From Home and Five Leagues From The Borderlands game IPs by Ivan Sorensen’s Nordic Weasel Games. This came alongside the announcement that the company would further expand the product line with new experiences, such as Five Parsecs: Tactics and Five Parsecs: Planetfall (working title). 

Coming in 2024

Cohors Cthulhu — The next expansion in Modiphius’ ongoing Against The Gods Themselves universe is on the way! This transmedia property lets players take the role of the Roman Empire’s greatest heroes as they join forces with allies and enemies alike to confront the Eldritch horrors that threaten their very existence. The Players Guide, Gamemaster’s Guide, a Campaign book set in Germania, Gamemaster Screen, and the first wave of physical and 3D-printable miniatures are all on track to release in 2024.

Homeworld: Fleet Command —  Experience epic battles between the Kushan and Taiidan in Homeworld: Fleet Command, created based on Gearbox’s award-winning video game series. A number of products in the line will launch in early 2024, including the core game box, the campaign expansion, additional fleet box sets, and several bundles in order to provide players with the definitive Homeworld tabletop experience.

Fallout: The Roleplaying Game The next big campaign book, Royal Flush, takes players to the West Coast wastelands and New Vegas. Releasing in the second half of 2024.

Fallout Factions: Nuka World — Gain power and battle for control of Nuka World in an entirely new player-versus-player skirmish wargame. Releasing in 2024, the game uses standard ten-sided dice and features a streamlined resolution system that’s great for beginners and those who want to set up the game on the fly.
