Audeze, the leading premium headphone manufacturer, is excited to announce the official release of the head tracking integration for their Maxwell headsets, expanding support for Dolby Atmos® binaural rendering at NAMM 2024. Audeze will also host interactive workshops throughout the show with Grammy winning recording engineers and artists, building on the growing interest in using headphones for mixing, mastering and spatial audio.
NAMM attendees will have the opportunity to learn from and interact with legendary recording engineers who’ve worked with the likes of Beyonce, Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg, Lizzo, Tom Petty, Metallica and more. Featured speakers include Andrew Scheps, Eliott Scheiner, Brian Lucy, Jordan Rudess and George Massenburg, among others. The full release of the head tracking feature for their Maxwell gaming headset for the Dolby Atmos Renderer is now available at Audeze.com for free download. Also, users must update the firmware of their Maxwell to version 56 to enable head tracking. This update follows last year’s beta release which added head tracking capability on Maxwell headsets, transforming them into an optimized tool for Dolby Atmos binaural mixing.
