ViewSonic Launches Secure, Future-Proof Interactive Display Solution with the ViewBoard IFPG1 Series

ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visualsolutions, introduces its ViewBoard® IFPG1 series of interactive displays. This series of ViewBoard displays come without pre-installed software programs, allowing schools to use their own device as needed, and upgrade when they want. These displays were developed to offer more flexibility and versatility, as well as a future-proof solution for classrooms. Schools can seamlessly integrate the IFPG1 displays into a classroom’s existing hardware and can use either Windows or Android operating systems to run the display.

“The ViewBoard IFPG1 series of interactive displays allow educators to work with the computing solution of their choice, while ensuring schools and administrators get the most out of their hardware investment”Post this

With an intuitive design and straightforward features, the ViewBoard IFPG1 interactive displays give education administrators and IT teams the flexibility to do more with limited budgets. The IFPG1 displays have no pre-installed software programs, which allows schools a greater standard of security, fewer vulnerabilities, and points of penetration. Administrators can use their own software, mass market or proprietary, and when it’s time to upgrade, simply swap out the external PC or OPS device for a next generation display.

These interactive displays feature native 4K Ultra HD resolution and multi-point touch recognition which allows multiple users to write, draw, or annotate on the panel simultaneously, with either fingers or styluses. The IFPG1 displays come with optional WriteAway™ technology, enabling users to start utilizing the boards faster with no start-up period.

“The ViewBoard IFPG1 series of interactive displays allow educators to work with the computing solution of their choice, while ensuring schools and administrators get the most out of their hardware investment,” said Jeff Muto, Business Line Director at ViewSonic. “These displays come with all the features needed for an interactive classroom, such as multi-touch and tip detection technology for sharing and collaboration, as well as speakers for audio, and various connectivity options. Because these displays don’t come with pre-installed software, schools can enjoy a higher level of security and reduced points of entry for cyberattacks. We developed this line of interactive displays to future-proof the hardware. Schools can simply swap out their computing solution when they need to upgrade instead of replacing the entire panel.”
