Sidus Space on Schedule to Launch Next Two LizzieSat Satellites

Sidus Space (NASDAQ: SIDU) (the “Company” or “Sidus”), a multi-faceted Space and Data-as-a-Service company, today announced LS-2 and LS-3 LizzieSat production is underway and on schedule for launch later this year. With LS-1 ready for launch and delivered to the Space-X launch site in Vandenburg, CA earlier this month, the Sidus team in Cape Canaveral is focused on upcoming milestones for LS-2 and LS-3.

“We designed the LizzieSat platform to be rapidly scalable and technology agnostic, to allow for rapid integration of new sensors as the space ecosystem evolves and industries and businesses embrace space strategy to enhance their offerings”Post this

LizzieSat’s flexible hybrid 3D printed design allows Sidus to enhance capabilities brought to market during the successful LS-1 build and test campaign. Design modifications from LS-1 include additional space situational awareness customer payloads and upgraded Sidus earth observation sensors that target specific needs of its own Space Data-as-a-Service customers.

Each hybrid 3D printed 220lb (100kg) small satellite is roughly the size of a dishwasher. The medium-sized low-cost satellite allows for longer on-orbit life and increased functionality compared to other commercial earth observation satellites.

“We designed the LizzieSat platform to be rapidly scalable and technology agnostic, to allow for rapid integration of new sensors as the space ecosystem evolves and industries and businesses embrace space strategy to enhance their offerings,” said Carol Craig, CEO of Sidus Space.

The company designs, fabricates, and assembles its satellites at its 35,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
