NETFLIX’S ARMY OF THE DEAD: VIVA LAS VENGEANCE RETURNS TO AREA15

The Netflix original “Army of the Dead: Viva Las Vengeance” will officially return to AREA15 on Friday, March 15. The immersive VR experience, based on the original film “Army of the Dead” by Zack Snyder will provide guests the opportunity to take on the role of a mercenary and fight their way through hordes of zombies in a mixed reality experience.

Utilizing the latest cutting-edge mixed reality technology and VR headsets, participants will begin the adrenaline-fueled experience with a briefing in the Las Vengeance dystopian quarantine zone before embarking on a perilous rescue mission to battle blood-thirsty zombies and save the living. The battle will start in a replica of the iconic taco truck and then continue through zombie-infested streets of Sin City. Guests will feel every growl and gunshot as the line between apocalyptic film and location-based VR blurs.

Great for groups, the experience allows you to move around and defend your team against attacks coming from all sides of the iconic taco truck as it rocks and rolls its way through the streets of Las Vegas. Participants can compare their scores against their friends or rivals and return to try and capture the top score. The experience concludes with photo moments and the opportunity to browse a collection of Army of the Dead merch and memorabilia to immortalize the mission’s success.

From suit-up to suit-down, the experience lasts approximately 30 minutes and guests must be checked in within 30 minutes prior to closing. Recommended for ages 13 and older and recruits under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older. High-heels, sandals and similar footwear are not permitted due to safety concerns.

Army of the Dead: Viva Las Vengeance will be located in the AREA15 District, next to the main building complex. Individual tickets are $30 for adults, discounted tickets available for military and locals. Entry to Army of the Dead is included in the AREA15 Access Level 4 Experience Pass. Zack Snyder is also the director of Rebel Moon – Part Two: Child of Fire coming out on April 19.
