Epic MMORPG AION Classic EU Unveils Jam-Packed Update Roadmap, Teases Intense New Gameplay Skills in Massive 2.8 Update

More gameplay content, more awe-inspiring locations, more powerful (and frankly, very cool-looking) loot to collect and equip your characters with, more quality of life improvements; AION Classic EU players can expect all this and more in the second half of the year.
First up on that roadmap is AION Classic EU’s 2.8 update! Titled “Conquest,” the update increases the level cap and introduces the dungeon Phaestos’ Disc as a new instance. It promises puzzles, power, and plenty of reasons to hop online and team up with pals (or take on challenges alone if you’re brave enough!).
Adding to this unforgettable, action-packed adventure, players can enter the dark new battlefield of Apheta Beluslan. Introducing strategic gameplay features, AION Classic EU players will take the fight to Tiamat’s Legion by waging war and occupying key areas of this twisted new location.
A Glimpse of 2.8: Conquest
Update 2.8 brings a plethora of exciting additions to the world of AION Classic EU, including:
- Max Character Level Increase: Players can now reach level 58, unlocking new heights of power and potential.
- New Skills: Each class receives two new skills, enhancing gameplay and strategy.
- New Battlefield: Apheta Beluslan: Enter a twisted realm where darkness reigns supreme and battle against Tiamat’s Legion in the newly introduced battlefield. Wage war, occupy bases, and uncover the mysteries of this corrupted land.
- New Instance: Phaestos’ Disc: Brave the depths of the Phaestos’ Disc dungeon, where ancient technology and golden power collide. Team up with fellow adventurers to face formidable challenges and claim valuable rewards.
- Account Updates: Enjoy increased flexibility with an expanded character limit per account and the introduction of a Total Enchantment level.
- Questing and Crafting: Complementing the level cap increase, there will of course be plenty of new questing and crafting opportunities
