AT&T Fiber is America’s Fastest Internet with the Most Reliable Speeds
What’s the news?
The summer games are heating up in Paris, but when it comes to internet service here in the U.S., AT&T Fiber takes the gold. In the new Speedtest Connectivity Report, Ookla® named AT&T Fiber America’s fastest internet in the nation.1 And we won by a long shot, 34% faster than the nearest competitor. And that’s not all. In the same report, AT&T Fiber took the title for Most Consistent Fixed ISP, meaning we also have the most reliable internet speeds in the nation.1
Why is this important?
Everything we do is with the customer in mind and this recognition validates our efforts directly from those we serve. That’s because the results are driven by the consumers themselves. The wins are based on nationwide test results that come from millions of real people taking tests daily with Speedtest. Plus, consumers also rank their provider after the test is done and AT&T Fiber was awarded America’s top-rated internet provider during Q1-Q2 2024 as well.1
“We’ve invested at the top of our industry to build the nation’s largest fiber network providing customers with the fastest internet speeds, great reliability and the best overall customer experience,” said John Stankey, Chief Executive Officer of AT&T. “The Ookla results confirm what we already knew in the market – the fiber experience wins by a mile. Pair our award-winning fiber with the largest wireless network in North America, and AT&T is the clear choice to connect customers anytime, anywhere.”
What’s next?
This recognition is only part of our story. Now, it’s about reaching as many Americans as we can. AT&T Fiber is already available at more households than any other fiber provider,2 and we are on track to pass 30 million-plus consumer and business locations with fiber by the end of 2025 as we pursue our mission to be the best connectivity provider.
