KingsIsle Entertainment Releasing Wizard101 on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch Consoles
KingsIsle Entertainment is delighted to announce its plans to release its free-to-play magic school MMORPG Wizard101 on consoles. Would-be student wizards on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch consoles can soon enroll and undertake the same journey that first launched on PC in 2008.
Wizard101’s family-friendly worlds and strategic, turn-based, deckbuilding combat will be available on PS4 natively, PS5 (in PS4 compatibility mode), Xbox One, One S, One X, Xbox Series X|S (in Xbox One compatibility mode), and Nintendo Switch. As student Wizards, you’ll embark on hundreds of quests with hours of fully voiced-over story content, explore 20 whimsical worlds, and become part of a bustling and vibrant community of active players.
The PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch versions will exist on one new server, allowing players to enjoy cross-play with other consoles.

A dark magic has overtaken Wizard City and the many worlds of The Spiral. You may be a brand-new student at the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts, but you and your magical spells may be the only hope The Spiral has to thwart the evil forces threatening the balance of everything.
