Cosworth and SimRep Engineering Unveil the CCW Mk2 Pro Sim: The Ultimate Sim Racing Experience
Cosworth has launched the all-new CCW Mk2 Pro Sim steering wheel at ADAC Sim Racing Expo in Dortmund, Germany.
Designed and developed in partnership with SimRep Engineering, the CCW Mk2 Pro Sim is a replica of Cosworth’s critically acclaimed FIA-certified carbon race steering wheel, the CCW Mk 2, which is used by teams in LMP2, IndyCar and Super Formula.
The CCW Mk2 Pro Sim represents the ultimate sim racing tech, ideal for the avid racer – be that in the sim world or in the real-world, allowing drivers the perfect opportunity to hone their racing craft.
The CCW Mk2 Pro Sim steering wheel has been carefully crafted to encompass the original carbon housing design and intricate components that feature on the Cosworth CCW Mk2 motorsport wheel, including precision-engineered rotary position switches, paddles, buttons and thumb wheels. This approach to aesthetic excellence ensures sim racers can seamlessly replicate the setup drivers would use in real-world race cars, delivering the ultimate real-world-to-sim racing experience.
The CCW Mk2 Pro sim wheel also features a high-tech 4.3-inch TFT LCD display and next-generation simulator electronics, as well as a ‘peace-of-mind’ two-year electronics warranty package.
Cosworth has a rich heritage and unparalleled pedigree as a top-tier global designer, developer and supplier of high-tech motorsport steering wheels. The company’s acclaimed CCW Mk3 motorsport steering wheel is used widely across the LMDh hypercar grid. In recent years, Cosworth has consolidated its capabilities by bringing ground-breaking high-quality products, solutions and technological principles into new markets. SimRep, a leading-edge Dutch sim hardware development company renowned for its expertise in developing high quality sim racing electronics and software, partnered with Cosworth in the design and development of the CCW Mk2 Pro Sim steering wheel. The company’s advanced SimHub electronics and software suite is integral to the new product.

Together with Cosworth’s engineers and designers, we have developed a world-leading sim racing product, carefully utilising original CAD models. By combining Cosworth’s extensive motorsport expertise with our specialised knowledge of simulator electronics, we aim to bridge the gap between real-world racing and sim racing.”

About SimRep Engineering
SimRep Engineering is a tech startup focused on developing electronics and hardware for the sim industry and motorsport applications. Innovation is at the core of SimRep. One of their latest innovations is a modular sim racing wheel that customers can repair themselves or have repaired at local shops, even after the warranty period has expired. By enabling customers to carry out their own repairs, CO2 emissions are reduced as products do not need to be unnecessarily returned to the manufacturer. With 10 years of part support, SimRep aims to challenge the disposable economy and extend the product lifecycle. This approach aligns with the EU’s right-to-repair legislation, which promotes sustainable consumption by ensuring products are repairable beyond their legal warranty.
