This groundbreaking 4K ultra-short-throw (UST) projector features enhanced ALPD® RGB+ 4.0 triple-color laser technology, upgraded Dolby Vision for exceptional visuals and second generation Bowers & Wilkins acoustics for immersive sound. Its ultra-short throw ratio allows for a large screen in limited space, and integrated Google TV offers easy access to your favorite content, redefining your home cinema experience.
The Formovie Theater Premium projector will be launched internationally on Formovie’s official website on October 28th with a MSRP of $3,499/€3,499. Pre-orders will be available at a price of $2,999 / €2,999, starting from October 28, 2024 at 00:00 a.m. PDT / 3:00 p.m. CST / 9:00 a.m. CEST.
Revolutionary Visual Experience with ALPD® 4.0 RGB+ and Dolby Vision
Like its predecessor the Theater, the Theater Premium is powered by ALPD® 4.0 RGB+ triple laser technology, developed by Formovie’s parent company, Appotronics. This innovative technology offers an impressive 107% BT.2020 color gamut coverage and a laser lifespan of up to 30,000 hours for consistent brightness. Thanks to enhancements from the R&D team, the Theater Premium delivers clarity that is 1.25 times clearer and purer than the previous Theater model. With refined color accuracy to minimize noticeable deviations and enhanced speckle suppression technology to eliminate distracting artifacts, it optimizes the visual experience for true-to-life imagery. Producing over 2200 ISO lumens and a 3000:1 contrast ratio, the Theater Premium projector creates more vibrant colors and deep blacks, even in brightly lit rooms.
The elevated Dolby Vision® support in the Theater Premium expands compatibility with a wider range of Dolby Vision® content, including NAS, Blu-ray players, U Disks, and Xbox. Combined with the HDR10/HDR10+ decoding support, the Theater Premium delivers stunning visuals with enhanced precision, offering a smoother and more immersive cinematic experience for films, TV shows, and sporting events.
Space-Saving Design with Ultra-Short Throw Technology
The Formovie Theater Premium boasts an ultra-short throw ratio of 0.21:1, allowing it to be placed 18% closer to the wall and lowering the projection height by nearly 40% for a 100-inch image. Additionally, it can project a massive 150-inch screen from just 42 cm away, making it ideal for home theaters without compromising on screen size. Users can enjoy large-format displays without extensive setup space, along with enhanced sound integration.
Immersive Audio with Upgraded Bowers & Wilkins and Dolby Atmos
Formovie’s partnership with Bowers & Wilkins brings world-class audio to the Theater Premium. The entire acoustic system has been upgraded to its second generation, with materials and sound tuning enhanced.
Significant audio enhancements include Dolby Atmos optimization and dual 15W speakers with a 990cc sound chamber for deeper bass, along with a treble unit that utilizes a titanium diaphragm for bright highs and filtering capacitors for purer output. These improvements deliver deeper, more stable bass and crisper, more vibrant highs, offering a truly immersive cinematic audio experience. Dolby Atmos and DTS-X support ensures superior sound quality, while the custom-engineered audio setup delivers rich and balanced acoustics across all genres of content.
Enhanced Entertainment with Google TV and MEMC Technology
The Theater Premium integrates Google TV with Netflix and thousands of streaming apps, giving users access to an expansive library of content, including YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and more. With MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology, viewers enjoy fluid motion, particularly during fast-paced action scenes or live sports, as the projector inserts frames to eliminate motion blur.
Gaming Ready with Low Latency Game Mode
Gamers will appreciate the low latency Game Mode, which offers an impressive 18ms response time, ensuring fast and responsive gaming with no noticeable lag. Whether
you’re playing competitive games or exploring immersive worlds, the Formovie Theater Premium provides an unparalleled gaming experience.
