Srhythm NC25: Noise-Canceling on a Budget

Today we are going to talk about the Srhythm NC25 noise canceling over-ear headphones

These were provided by Srhythm. Review is not sponsored only product provided.

Un-Boxing

They kept in nice and simple. Black box, headphones, Cable, Airplane adapter all store in a nice canvas like martial case.

Nice that it come with a hard-shell case. Most headphone do not so this will keep you Cans protected.

I have the mint green color and I can say it is a pretty set of cans for sure.

On the right side you have 4 buttons. Top button is power/Bluetooth pairing, Left and rights are multi fiction buttons for skipping music, volume etc.… Bottom button is the ANC

Right hand has USB-C for charging it’s massive 50hour battery.

Build Quality

Light weight and highly flexible. I stretched out the headphone to almost flat and almost no creaking and didn’t break.

Ears are comfortable for long term use. The top bar cushion is ok ish. I even though they are light after some time I started to feel the bar pressing into my top skull. The slide adjustment is click adjusted. I like this style as it seems to hold its setup quit well.

Feature’s

The USB charging does in face turn off headphones as soon as you plug it in. So, no you cannot use and charge at same time. Good thing the battery is insane in here. A built-in 1000mAh large battery. Charging 10minutes and working 3hours. 2.5hours for full charge. You can enjoy your world without noise for 50 hour’s long time with a single charge. or plug in 3.5mm stereo audio cable to prolong using time when the battery is low.

Calls quality was clear but they said I was very quiet. I heard them perfectly.

Multi connection. I had it connected to 2 devices at the same time. Switching between was as simple as hitting play or answer.

Bluetooth 5.3 works as suspected with no noticeable latency issues with watching videos.  Ideal Bluetooth headphones for watching TV, video conference, and gaming, press the multi-function button three times to activate the low latency mode 40mm drivers provide high-res audio in silence, along with 360 degree omnidirectional noise-canceling ANC, high-response diaphragm, and lightweight voice coil

Sounds

As I have mentioned in other reviews. Sound is objective. What I like you may not and Vis versa. So this is my observations and you might be different. I will try to use music that you can access for references.

Here is my play list for this review. (ANC = Active Noise Cancellation)

Song #1

LL Cool J Feat Eminem – Murdergram Deux

50% Volume: Song was clear bass solid, mids were ok, highs were little low.

75% Volume: Same as above

100% Volume: Still good bass highs have cleaned up mids maintained.

Teddy SwimsI’ve Tried Everything But Therapy

50% Volume: Great vocals (mids) Piano in crisp (highs) Bass (kick drum) was acceptable

75% Volume: Vocals are better. I can hear the gravel in his voice, Kick drum more punch Piano same

100% Volume: kick more prominent whaling guitar sounds great voice on point

Gary Jules & Michael Andrews – Mad World

50% Volume: Piano is represented and clear, vocals hold all emotions it was recorded with

75% Volume: Same as above just louder

100% volume: At peak volume Gary Jules very clear and even more haunting, Piano same as above

Side note. Extra song Tchaikovsky – 1812 Overture (Full with Cannons) sounds awesome. Last 2 minutes were great experience. If you do not know listen to last 2 minutes on high volume. If using speakers make sure no one is sleeping.

So, after many many songs it is super clear on my setup Volume is king. Sound is good to great for this price point. Bass is not the best in class but does a great job non the less. Mids and highs are smooth for the most part. No harsh distortions.

Now in movies and tv with ANC ON it is very immersive.

I watched a few episodes of arrow, king of Tulsa and the resident. Voices were clear, explosions rattled my molars and any music in the show was intense as intended.

ANC cut out lots of external noise. I was able to listen to music and movies with Spouse watching tv same room and phone calls no issues.

Phone function was ok not amazing. It works if you get a call but if you can hold the phone to your head do that.

Overall

Are there better headphones yes, is there better for phone calls Yes, are there better constructed headphones also yes. But when you consider the price $65.99. I have used many headphones, I would put these in a similar category.

Sound quality on your media is great and the insane battery. I did not start writing this review until the battery died. I did not turn off or charge for a week of use. So overall I am happy with this headphone. Light weight and comfortable to ware.
