U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Partners to Announce Largest Seizure of Fake Gibson Guitars on Record
WHAT: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials in conjunction with U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD), and Gibson, to announce the largest seizure of Gibson electric guitars on record. A multi-agency operation leads to the interception of over 3,000 counterfeit Gibson electric guitars worth over $18 million if they were genuine.
